Although the number of people who know a little about the Mahabharata runs into lakhs, yet a lot about it remains to be known. To read, understand and absorb a vast epic like Mahabharata is tedious and time consuming. Thus the need for a book, which in a short span of time can impart all the important and main information about it to us. From this viewpoint this book is an ocean in a small earthen vessel. At the end of the book three annexures have been attached Annexure-1 shows the family tree of the Kauravas and Pandavas. Annexure-2 gives a list of the hundred sons of Dhritrashtra. Annexure-3 gives the composition of one Akshauhinee Sena.
