Sri Rudra Prasna

The appeal of the Sri Rudram the beautiful Vedic homage to Lord Rudra, lies not merely in its phonetic majesty but its universalities of approach to God.

The omnipresence of God, which is widely recognized and universally accepted by all religions, is most beautifully brought out in the words of this immortal Vedic Prayre.

I have ventured to make this free rendering of the "Rudram" into English so as to make the English-knowing public of this country aware of the greatness of this Vedic Prayer and to induce them to drink of its nectar of Potency.

A regular recital of the Rudram either individually or in groups and assemblies, with the full knowledge of the meaning of its words is sure to bestow undaunted courage, supreme self-confidence and spiritual uplift, so necessary to overcome the many dangers that confront our own individual lives as well as the nations at large.
