The music flowing from Krishna's flute is much more than a simple melody; it is the call of the divine which pervades the magic landscape of Vrindavan inviting all creatures to rejoin God in eternal bliss. Krishna's flute is endowed with the same spell, the same beauty, the same ineffable sweatiness, grace and captivation as the god himself. In a dreamy milieu, at sunset, Krishna is lost in the melody of his own music, mesmerizing the animals and plants in the background. Like other cowherds, Krishna wears a sash around his head, replete with a brooch and peacock feathers. Ornaments seem fortunate to be on the body of the Lord. Placement of the fingers on the flute suggest spontaneous movement.
The blue colour suggesting passion, and yellow symbolizing bhakti, explain the personality of Lord Krishna so well. His divinity is stressed by the white halo around his head.
