Radha has snatched Krishna’s flute and refuses to hand it back to him. With his right arm encircling her thin waist, Krishna tries to coax her to return it to him, as a gopi watches on. Both Radha and Krishna stand on a lotus ground, as distinct from the gopi, thus signifying their divine status, as does the halo behind them.
This artwork was painted in Kishangarh, a small town near Jaipur.
