How to wear a Sari

I, too, have bought this beautiful sari -- it's more lovely in reality than the picture -- in other words, "the picture does not do it [the sari] justice."

It is everything the reviewer/other owner of the sari, Eva, said it is. It's more beautiful than you can contemplate simply from the picture on the site.

I must also give props to the seamstresses at Exotic India for accomodating my rather odd request to take the choli of the sari and give it long sleeves and to lengthen it by eight inches, turning it into a lovely jacket of sorts, which is much more appropriate for the weather I'll be wearing this sari in (Omaha, Nebraska, on Saint Patrick's Day, March 17th -- the snow's just started melting and it *may* actually get as high as sixty degrees Farenheit. Big maybe there), and they made it just as beautiful as the rest of the sari. I pulled out the choli right off the bat to simply admire its beauty.

This is more than a simple testimonial or review of this particular sari. It is also the best compliment to the people of the Exotic India Arts firm that I can think of: When they state on their site that they'll make you a complimentary petticoat and choli based on your measurements, they're as good as their word. They did exactly that for me, and I thank them very much for simply keeping their word...and being kind, always courteous, always helpful; providing the best customer service I've ever experienced from any retailer I've ever dealth with, and for working with my unusual build and height so that I can wear this sari, this gorgeous dress, on the best day in the world to wear it (for me), which is Saint Patrick's Day, and making it a beautful joy to wear, and a genuine joy to work with these fine people at this site -- the people of Exotic India Arts. There are no finer people at customer service than they.
