Manickavachagam

Tamil poet Manickavachagam is regarded as one of the most important and treasured texts in South India's Bhakti tradition. The saintly poet Thiruvasagamani Manickavachagar, also known as Manickavasagar or Manikkavasagar, is credited with writing it.

Nine books collectively referred to as Tirumurai make up the Manickavachagam, which is regarded as a part of the Tamil Shaiva canon.

The Manickavachagam is regarded as a wonderful piece of devotional literature that conveys profound intellectual truths together with deep spirituality and emotional devotion. It significantly influenced Tamil literature, culture, and the South Indian Bhakti movement.
