American Experience and Other Articles is a collection of lectures and addresses delivered by Rabindranath Tagore in America and other countries across the world. In 'American Experience', the author relates his trip to the USA in 1916-17, where he faced a hostile reaction from Liberal Americans, to his ideas on civil society. In Other lectures, Tagore is seen to propagate, to Western audiences, Indian philosophy and values as encompassed in her socio-cultural milieu.
