Primary data were collected from the samples of tourists and local Host Community using structured questionnaire. Fourteen tourist places were selected covering all the 7 categories of cultural tourists according to a prescribed typology. Both the tourists and Host Community were selected by applying non-probability sampling technique. A total of 700 tourists and 900 local Host Community constitute the sample size of the study. A number of valid hypotheses were formulated and tested at appropriate places.
