Agadtantra is branch of Ashtang Ayurveda, this is very essential for study of each and every Ayurveda students. This branch consist of details on Poison, types of Poison, their source, uses for suicide, homicide or as cattle Poisoning. Different types of vegetative (Stavar) Poison, Animal origin (Jangam) Poison their properties, detection and treatments are mention in this compilation.
We can take a lot of knowledge of Agadtantra from Brihtrayai and laghutrayai. In this book I tried to compile all the data from samhitas and other books available on Agadtantra. So that a student of Ayurveda can get notes for study the subject.
My aim is to make a book in kind of notes for students of BAMS easy to grasp, understandable point to point but brief about the subject. I tried my level best to convert all knowledge of Agadtantra in English Language, for easy assistance.
The book is written according to CCIM course for Agadtantra which will be suitable for all students and followers of Ayurveda. No matter of language they speak, as English is the most common language all over the World.

Author has completed his post-graduation in Dravyaguna and perusing PhD in Dravyaguna from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences Nashik (MS). Also completed his post graduate diploma in Forensic science and related law from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, C'Sambhaji Nagar (MS). Currently working as head of Dept. Dravyaguna at Global Institute of Ayurveda, Rajkot, Gujarat. He had published 20 research articles in National and International Journals. He had received patent on "Kanchanar Pushpa Gikanda". His research view has developed many formulations useful for the society.
Whole Agadtantra is written in consideration to new NCISM syllabus and that too point wise, some chapter of Vyavhar Ayurveda has also completed by the Author.
