Dr S. Raghuraman The author of this book ‘’History of Tamil’s dance was born on 23.05.1956 in Kottur. Coimbatore district to Sri K Sethuraman and filed of dance came through his wife Vanaty Raghuraman, daughter of Veterian musicologist and musician. Dr S Ramanathan. For the past 10 years, with his interest and knowledge he had enriched the music dance platform with a number of tamizh works. Under his guidance many tamizh composition before. Thus contines his cervice to mother ‘Tamil’ This book has unique creding of being the first book on dance history in the 21st century.

The book should be a great reference for students, practitioners, scholars and researchers in dance.
