How to Live a Fruitful Hundred years gives the readers a first hand account of ‘near death’ experience four times in the life of the author. These valuable experiences are reckoned as incentives to live and how it is possible to escape death by manipulating the events to happen. It includes a paragraph on intimate conversation with Shri Jai Prakash Narain on the subject of ‘ Life after death’ and also as to how the ‘Soul’ which is immortal re-entered the mortal frame of Shri Narain on a command signal given by the brain which was still alive although his heart had stopped.
An interesting paragraph is devoted to the conversation which the author was privileged to have with Mahatma Gandhi in January 1934 when a terrible earthquake visited Bihar causing great damage to life and property in Monghyr, Muzaffarpur and Patna districts.
The book also gives a glimpse of the role of meditation, the values of balanced diet and exercise in prolonging longevity. finally, an interesting account of the role of genetic engineering in prolonging human life, based on scientific knowledge emanating from future research is included to give a finishing touch in this book by building the concept of what may be called a ‘Biological Clock’.
