This book consists of four parts, the first part deals with the basic principles of Islam in four chapters. Here the essential of Islam are fully explained.
In the second part the learned author traces the history of Islam and its followers right from the birth of Prophet Mohammad (may peace and blessings be upon him) up to date. Though in brief, he gives a complete account of Muslim Rule in Arabic and in other parts of the world, which shows the rise and fall of Muslim Rule through the centuries of Hijra.
The third part is devoted to the Holy Qur'an and its teachings and in the fourth chapter, the learned author writes about the Application of Islamic teaching to the Socio- Economic Development in the 20th century. It is the interesting to note, How the Qur'anic teachings and traditions can apply even to the life of the most modern Muslim today. Hence the book, as a whole has tremendous appeal for both the students of Islam and general readers.
