About the Author

My experience dates back to the competitive streak I possessed when I played cricket and dreamt of making in the national Indian team as an all- rounder. All I could remember at the time was bowling and batting right. But future had something else in store for me. I studied medicine and became a doctor. During that time I came in contact with body-builders and was instantly hooked on to it. I won state level body-building championships three consecutive times. Then power-lifting happened thanks to Bhushan ji, my guru. I started contesting in national, international and world championships Needless to mention I won accolades for my country. I won medals at National, Asian and World levels. Media coverage was indeed honoring for it brought recognition and fame in tow. I began writing for various Newspapers [first The Times of India and presently The Hindustan times] as a fitness expert. I have been interviewed several television channels like NDTV. STAR NEWS, DD, AAJ TAK, etc., regarding fitness issues numerous times I have tried my hand at editing a fitness magazine as well. It was my tireless endeavour and dedication that kept me going even when lack of funds stared into my face. My indomitable spirit led me through turbulent times. I vowed to spread my knowledge to fellowmen and women by setting up a rehabilitation centre-cum-fitness centre, where I provide my services to common people. But only a written book could reach every nook and corner This thought refused to leave my mind and when all fell into place, I was ready to unleash my heart and soul's desire unadulterated and undeterred to the core.
