Book Description

Preface Remembrance of our dignified history always mentors us, teaches us life lessons. Under the project 'Bharat Bharati', we have presented 135 books with life stories of the national heroes who are the integral parts of our glorious history. The books are purposely written in simple language for the kids to understand. In connection with that book series, we are now presenting series of 100 books which involves pictures to simplify the reading further. 'Chitramay Bharat Bharati' is our ambitious project for inspiring next generations. We are proud to present the first set of 10 books introducing the biographies of great social reformers who fought against the evils in society focusing on education, equality, removal of superstitions etc. We strongly believe that the colourful pictures and the simplified interesting stories will surely be found attractive by the children. The author of the books, Mrs. Vibhawari Bidve has put all the efforts to fulfil the responsibility of putting the stories in simplest form for children to find it easy to understand. Mr. Sagar Nene has done a great job of Art and Design for the book series. Mrs. Yashashree Kulkarni has aptly translated the text into English. Handing over this great heritage to the blooming buds to guide them to social equality is the most joyous experience. We hope, you adore the activity carried out by us and welcome these books which will be helpful in developing and enhancing the valuable spirit of equality and national integrity.
