RAJASTHAN'S SILVER JEWELLERY
Look Inside the Book
Description

About the Book:

Rajasthan's rich culture has always captivated people from far and wide. In recent years several books have come on Rajasthan as well as on silver jewellery of India as a whole, but there were none exclusively on the living legacy of the traditional silver jewellery, as people sport it in Rajasthan. This book fills the void. With colourful pictures, it attempts to give a feel of the warmth and vibrancy of the desert state's vivid silver jewellery.

About the Author:

Tripti Pandey is know for her deep love for culture. She is a recognised name in unfolding Rajasthan's rich heritage. Her involvement with folk music and dance resulted in a first ever book of its kind Where Silence Sings which received heartening reviews. She is an avid travel writer who explores culture and highlights its salient features. She has been honoured with Austrain President's Gold Medal in the year 2003.

Testimonials
Your website store is a really great place to find the most wonderful books and artifacts from beautiful India. I have been traveling to India over the last 4 years and spend 3 months there each time staying with two Bengali families that I have adopted and they have taken me in with love and generosity. I love India. Thanks for doing the business that you do. I am an artist and, well, I got through I think the first 6 pages of the book store on your site and ordered almost 500 dollars in books... I'm in trouble so I don't go there too often.. haha.. Hari Om and Hare Krishna and Jai.. Thanks a lot for doing what you do.. Great !
