Preface
Comprehensive perception is the beginning to understand the nature of Eastern oriental sciences. A sacred thread that connects man to nature is the core of oriental theme. A search for peace, progress and prosperity on various levels of existence, is a by-product of search for the soul and nature. Since this search is divine, its reflection has given a positive dimension to human life. A fact is a physical phenomenon but the thought is an organic matter that connects the self to the world. Mind and thought are dimensioned, directed and developed on the quality of breath, which depends on many outer and inner aspects. Oriental sciences have this multidimensional approach-when it speaks of mind, it speaks of water element and it may speak of position of moon in the sky, along with the entire reflection of relation of cosmic and individual breath. When it speaks of fire, it may hint to the east zone extending the awareness to the qualities of Mars, along with the entire reflection of self and relation to the society. This comprehensive perception of the fact makes it a multiphenomenal, living entity of life. Constraints, choice and freedom are like self-contradictory terms but nature contains all these things without any antagonism. That is, the power of Nature. When you search for discipline in the laws of Nature, it may show its theory of choice and the rule of least efforts. So the order of nature is built on many multidisciplinary modules of odd diversities. All these things are very nicely explained in "Darshan Shastra" while defining the Aatma (Soul), Prakriti (Order) and Srushti (Outer Order). Length, area and volume are interdependent but their qualities are changing with the ratio-proportions. Quality is an organic entity whereas L x B x D are physical phenomenal factors. This is known as Gun-vad in the traditional scriptures. All systems have different ratio-proportion for their survival. The optimum ratio is such that works with minimum friction. Here one enters in the dynamics of time, event, self and existence. The entire oriental science is standing on the boundaries of life and death, time and directions, living and non-living, energy and matter so its scope one may find odd, if he has not understood the way to know it or developed an eye that connects life and death, energy and matter, etc. Industrial structures are reflection of science, development and social movement. This book focuses on these factors through the study of proportions, gradients, dimensions, directions, five great elements and eventology. Alignment with the energy streams and organisation of five great elements are the main issues of Vaastu Shastra. This book is a practical guide to know the successful forms of industrial structures derived from studies conducted on several existing factories and industries. These forms have been developed after conformation with the constraints of traditional Vaastu Shastra and are based on the laws of environmental engineering and climatology. Industrial patterns are changing rapidly. The face of the market is ambiguous and leads to lack of knowledge of trends and patterns. Uncertainty has created many voids that hinder conformity and creativity. Here an attempt has been made to find the solutions. Astrology speaks of time. Vaastu speaks of directions. Eventology speaks of time and directions simultaneously. Presented here is a correlation of the concepts of Astrology to those of Vaastu to ultimately examine the scope of eventology and happening.
