This sacred Hymns to spread your wings ‘Chinmaya Book of hymns’ was initially printed in 2001 to fulfil the long felt need of devotees within and outside our mission and its repeat prints over 23000 copies proves its usefulness and great demand all over the world.

This book is helpful to both for those not knowing Devanagari and also those knowing Devanagari as it provides Roman transliteration with diacritical marks besides Devanagari’s script itself.

Prayer is universal in all religions as it helps to quieten the mind with peace and tranquillity. It is said that the family which prays together, stays together. Prayer can also generate universal brotherhood .

The Collection in this book makes a blend of hymns popular is north and south India includes some , popular in homes in Maharashtra.

The Contents have been especially useful in our Chinmaya International School (CIRS) Chinmaya Vidyalayas and Bala Vihars all over the world , besides being popular in each devotee’s home.

Lakshmi Sukumar of Chinmaya Mission San Diego (USA) had contributed substantially while setting the contents of this book.

The currents revised edition ins brought out after meticulous checking by our Sampadan team to ensure error free and hence , they deserve compliments.
