About The Book

The day comes after the Supreme Court, in November 2019, passed a landmark verdict in favour of the Ram Lalla, and said the entire disputed land spread over 2.7 acres will be handed over to a trust formed by the government, which will monitor the construction of the Ram Temple at the site. The Ram Janmabhoomi dispute, dealing with the birthplace of Lord Ram, who is the civilizational symbol of India stretching from Vietnam to the Caribbean, is one of the most important legal disputes in the history of India. It is a legacy of our past and without the resolution of the Ram Janmabhoomi, there can be no effective resolution of historical wrongs. The so-called Babri Masjid was made in the 1528 AD, allegedly by Babar or at his command or instance by Mir Baqi or anyone else by demolishing the said temple. The material used was almost all of it taken from the Temple including its pillars which were wrought out of Kasauti or touch-stone, with figures of Hindu gods and goddesses carved on them. However, there is no evidence whatsoever that after its construction, it was ever used as a mosque by Muslims at least till 1856-57. Sri Ramjanamsthan has particular significance for the Hinduism as visiting and performing customary rites confer virtue and gives salvation. It is a firm belief of the Hindus based on their sacred Divine Holy Scriptures, which belief neither can be scrutinized by any Court of Law nor can be challenged by the persons having no faith in Hinduism as this is conscience of the Hindus having special protection under Article 25 of the Constitution of India. The construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya will begin from Wednesday (5th August 2020) after the Bhoomi Pujan that will be performed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Several VVIPs, including Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Governor Anandiben Patel, BJP veteran Uma Bharti and RRS chief Mohan Bhagwat, will attend the Bhoomi Pujan event that will mark a new beginning in India's history.

Preface

The day comes after the Supreme Court, in November 2019, passed a landmark verdict in favour of the Ram Lalla, and said the entire disputed land spread over 2.7 acres will be handed over to a trust formed by the government, which will monitor the construction of the Ram Temple at the site..

The construction of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya is to begin from June 10 by placing the first bricks for the foundation. The event will be marked by prayers to Lord Shiva at the Kuber Tila shrine on the Ram Janmabhoomi site, allocated for the temple in a historic Supreme Court verdict last November. The "rudrabhishek" ritual follows the tradition set by Lord Ram, who prayed to Shiva before launching an attack on Lanka, said Mahant Kamal Nayan Das, spokesperson for the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teertha Kshetra Trust head Mahant Nritya Gopal Das.

In 1994, the Supreme Court of India said that, "within a short time, the entire structure was demolished and razed to the ground. Indeed, it was an act of 'national shame'. What was demolished was not merely an ancient structure; but the faith of the minorities in the sense of justice and fair play of majority." A contempt petition against the then UP chief minister, Kalyan Singh, is still pending. The criminal proceeding for the conspiracy to demolish the structure is also pending before the court of first instance.
