Preface
This translation was undertaken under the divine instructions of Swami Shuddhananda Giri of the Kriya Yoga Lineage, Balighai, Puri, Odisha. It is a privilege to publish this edition with the kind consent and blessings of one of the original authors, Rajmata Saubhagya Kunwar Ranawat.
Noble souls like Sri Chakra Ji inspire seekers to perceive and realise the glory of the Divine through their words and lives. This English edition aims to share its wisdom with a wider audience.
Yet conveying the full depth and essence of an original work through translation remains a challenging, often elusive task. The Hindi book "Sri Chakra Charitam" stands as a remarkable achievement, rich with poetic sentiment and emotion that cannot be fully conveyed in English. Furthermore, translating the writings of evolved souls risks losing subtle nuances, as our understanding is inherently limited. Therefore, discerning readers who know Hindi are encouraged to experience the original text. In this edition, the letters and some verses written by Sri Chakra Ji, as well as the tributes paid to him by various sages and eminent persons, have not been included.
