Description
About the Book

A Greek scholar, a Chinese monk and a Chinese pilgrim—sharing a common fascination for India-left for us a priceless legacy in the form of detailed accounts of their times.

Megasthenes was the ambassador of Selevcus Nikator to the court of Chandragupta Maurya in the 4th century BC. His Indika has been the most authentic and accurate account of that era.

Fa Hien traveled to India from China, in 339 AD, to learn the true teachings of Buddha. He came during the Gupta rule, touring extensively and recording his observations.

Hiven Tsang, Buddhist scholar, faced heavy odds as he traveled through India in 629 Ad, to seek the law of Buddha. Those who sought his wisdom were Emperor Harsha and Pulakeshi II.

Thank you very much for the Shri Yantra with Navaratna which has arrived here safely. I noticed that you seem to have had some difficulty in posting it so thank you...Posting anything these days is difficult because the ordinary postal services are either closed or functioning weakly.   I wish the best to Exotic India which is an excellent company...
