The oldest books in the library of man are rightly considered the mother of all religions. Their message has no barriers of race, creed or religion. It is universal and eternal. There are four Vedas, known as Rig Veda, Yajur Veda, Sama Veda and Atharva Veda. Altogether they contain about 21,000 verses. Since the text itself is individually complete in hymns, a selection of about ninety in this present title has not destroyed any continuity. It is an excellent presentation of a fusion of the verses with nature photographs. The logic is that today a common man in the street has little time and inclination to read these great books. He wants the distilled essence, in as pleasant a manner as possible. The main motivating factor is to bring out the highest possible lofty thoughts contained in the Vedas which will be relevant to mankind as long as it exists.
