A work on Vedic Riddles depends upon some discussions regarding observations on the nature of riddles, such poetry, questions of them, sacrificial uttering, Philosophical discourse as well as questioning method applied to them. Then the Veda is the storehouse and master-piece of all such topics. The treatise consists of eight chapters and a number of appendices including the introduction and conclusion. Additional matters and condensed materials have been found place in the Appendix and Conclusion. The rest with generalities showed an idea on the nature of this topic. Full quotations contained notes from the original texts to enable the reader to verify and to appreciate the statements by the writer. The treatment has been modernized without sacrificing the kernel to rule out the suspicion that it is from the pen of an orthodox scholar. A detailed discussion of riddle questions and their interpretations shows a conception of proper meaning of Vedic terms. Scholars both eastern and western busied themselves with the proper interpretation of certain Vedic obscure and rare words occurring in the passages of the Vedas. Vedic literature complies exhaustive information of every mantra with reference to salient features of diverse topics. Scholars have already entrusted with their all around efforts to find out intelligible sense of ambiguous Vedic terms.
I bow down to the great scholars in solemn reverence for their aspiration and help as entitled to me. I also convey my homage to the great seer poets of the Vedas. The work is immensely intended to be enriched by treasures at modern outlook to bring the wealth of ideas by finding out exposition of matters.
