"Masterda Surjya Sen was a teacher and a freedom fighter. He led the Chittagong Uprising in 1930, with a group of young idealists, aiming to free the city from British rule, if only for a day.
Bhagat Singh wanted the unjust British government to feel the anger of the Indian people. Walking to the gallows with shouts of "Inquilab Zindabad," he remains an inspiration to this day. Taught by his mother to be fearless, Bagha Jatin organised the revolutionary movement in Bengal against the British. Even as they hunted him, the British respected his fierce pride and determination.
