Simply Heaven is a series based on tourism that has successfully run on Doordarshan (India’s national Television Network). It highlights some of the most beautiful parts of India situated in the state of Uttarakhand. This program is based on in depth research of each place. Each episode shows a brief history of the place tells the viewer about the art & culture of that place and shows the best route to reach there. The series has used music that highlights the art and culture of these places. This DVD contains 8 episodes of the series.

Badrinath, the temple of lord Vishnu, established by Adi Shankaracharya in the ninth century, is known to be the most popular of the char dhams of India.
Hemkunt Sahib, Dedicated to Shri Guru Gobind Singh is an architectural wonder and the only gurudwara to be situated at an altitude of 4200 mts making it the highest gurudwara in the world.
Gwaldam, is a small hill station which connects Garwhal and Kumaun and is surrounded by breathtaking sceneries.
Valley of Flowers, which was declared a national park in 1982 is known for the hundreds of varieties for flowers that grow there on their own and a lot of stories and myths are attached to it.
Piran Kaliyar, which is considered to be second after Ajmer Sharif has a lot of stories devotees coming from all over the world every year.
Munsyari, a witness of the Indo-Tibet trade and is a small hill station on the borer of Uttarakhand.
Kausani, which is also known as the Switzerland of India is known for its splendid view of the great Himalayas.
Shivpuri, is considered to be one of the best rafting belts in the world and rafters from all over the world come here to get a different feel of the Ganges.
