Ingredients: Each 375 mg tab. prepard/Derived from:
Saindhava Lavana 53.77 mg, Trifla 160.71 mg, Yavani, Bilva Majja,
Grihadhoom (each 53.57 mg).
Indications: It is indicated in diarhoea, dysentery sprue, abdominal disorders and dyspepsia. It prevents formation of mucus in the stools, clears bowels, removes flatulence and abdominal pain and improves appetite. By improving digestion it helps the formation of the seven elements of the body which thus becomes healthy and free from diseases.
Dosage: 375 mg. to 1.5 g (1 to 4 tabs.) Each tablet contains 375 mg. of the basic drug. To be taken in the morning and evening or as required.
Direction - With cold water or anise water.
Diet & Ancillary Treatment - Vomiting, fasting, sleeping, old shali rice, cow’s and goat’s milk, curd, butter, milk and butter, green plantains, honey, black berries, bael, pomegranate, nutmeg, cumin seeds, bhang (cannabis sativa leaves), coriander seeds and kurchi bark, etc.
Prohibition: Sweating, application of “Surma” to the eyes, blood letting, drinking excessive water, bathing, keeping late hours, smoking, use of snuffs, checking calls of nature, wheat, urad, barley, bathua, makoli, garlic intoxicants, leafy vegetable, kakri, cucumber, sour substances and pulses etc.
