The talented artist has traced with delicate exactness a pencil outline of the floral pattern on a pre cut circular plate and then gone on to paint it in the finest enamel paints. A prominent daisy stands in the centre of a twin circle. Beyond the outer edge of the circle starts the elaborate design of bunches of flowers, alternately coloured in burgundy and maroon. Each bunch contains six flowers held by delicate stems with leaves falling in such a manner that they almost surround the plant. The space between each plant motif is filled up by curvilinear stems with leaves and flowers, weaving their way around the floral bunches.
The end of the plate has single flowers placed at equal distances. These single flowers, instead of overshadowing the central pattern, aid in projecting the flow of the pattern in its ultimate beauty.
