One cannot perceive of Krishna as an entity, separate from Radha. You think of Krishna and the thought of Radha comes on its own, signifying the soulful union of the two.

It is a part of Vaishnava ritual that devotees offer betel leaves to the deity. Here Radha is offering the same to Krishna as a token of her affection. Radha and Krishna are shown luxuriating in each other's elegance, a certain ineffable tenderness characterizing their gestures and movements. Their love is gentle rather than brusque and we see a blend of romantic sensuality and loving innocence. No, Krishna doesn't seem interested in the betel leaves that Radha so lovingly offers, he wants Radha herself. He extends his left arm to pull her closer and the right hand holds the flute that he often plays to charm her and the gopis. There is sensuality in their body language and elegance in their attire and ornaments.

The artist has placed Radha and Krishna on lotus pedestals and given them both a divine aura.

The artist paints a luxuriant tree on the right but takes a distant perspective on the left, including the cowherd's cows but not so prominently.

This is to inform you that the shipment of my order has arrived in perfect condition. The actual shipment took only less than two weeks, which is quite good seen the circumstances. I waited with my response until now since the Buddha statue was a present that I handed over just recently. The Medicine Buddha was meant for a lady who is active in the healing business and the statue was just the right thing for her. I downloaded the respective mantras and chants so that she can work with the benefits of the spiritual meanings of the statue and the mantras. She is really delighted and immediately fell in love with the beautiful statue. I am most grateful to you for having provided this wonderful work of art. We both have a strong relationship with Buddhism and know to appreciate the valuable spiritual power of this way of thinking. So thank you very much again and I am sure that I will come back again.
