Yantras have traditionally been painted in elite metals such as copper and silver, the latter being much rarer. On this reed-thin sheet of silver is inscribed the most powerful of the yantras, the Shri Shri Yantra. It consists of a dual-layer bhupura (precinct), followed by two concentric lotuses of sixteen and eight petals respectively (shodashadala padma and ashtadala padma), which is further followed by nine interlocking isosceles triangles. Four of these triangles are oriented upwards in indication of the lingam, and five downwards in indication of the yoni. At the centre of this yantram is the all-important bindu that has not been inscribed on this particular composition. Sacred utterances dominate most of the surface between the chakras of this yantram.

IAs a serious student and teacher of Bhagavad Gītā, Upaniṣad and Jyotiṣa I have found you have some good editions of English with sanskrit texts. Having texts of high quality with both is essential.
