Yoga is the science and technology of understanding the fundamental nature of how life is generated and how it can be brought to its full potential. It is believed that Adiyogi transmitted the knowledge and a methodical explanation of the inner technology of Yoga to his first seven followers, known as the Sapta Rishis, on the banks of Kanti Sarovar, a glacier lake a few miles beyond Kedarnath in the Himalayas. This goes back to the beginning of time before there was any such thing as religion. The most powerful tools needed to increase human consciousness were realised, and promoted before individuals developed divisive ways of splitting humanity to the point where it appears virtually impossible to fix. Adiyogi history also narrates a tale of Shiva who, bestowed his knowledge on Yoga and meditation to his spouse Parvati.

The statue is inspired by the 112-feet tall Adiyogi bust constructed at the foothills of the Velliangiri Mountains at Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu. Recognised as one of the largest bust sculptures in the world by the Guinness World Records, the sculpture is one of its kind. The 4.5-inch miniature version of the Adiyogi statue offered by us is no less in the positive energy emanated by it. This stunning replica is replete with details of the moon, earrings, serpent and His famous locks. The serene face invokes spiritual energies. The crescent moon symbolizes wisdom and mystic knowledge. The three eyes tell us that he is the Master of the past, present and future, being the pioneer of sun, moon and fire. The snake coiled around his neck is a sign of his vitality or the Shiva principle implanted in each human being. The great ‘Yogi’ is seen completely absorbed in profound meditation – the transcendental reality.

Practising Yoga allows a person to be in union with both their own and Universal Consciousness, signifying a perfect balance of mind and body. There are a variety of ways to learn yoga that one can simply cultivate and apply in their daily lives. However, Self-realization is the primary goal of yoga, which leads to a state of 'liberation' (Moksha) or 'freedom' (Kaivalya). The bust symbolises the possibilities for human beings to attain well-being, reach their ultimate potential and feel connected to the source of divinity. Keep it on your desk or give it to those closest to you on special occasions.

How to keep a Brass statue well-maintained?

Brass statues are known and appreciated for their exquisite beauty and luster. The brilliant bright gold appearance of Brass makes it appropriate for casting aesthetic statues and sculptures. Brass is a metal alloy composed mainly of copper and zinc. This chemical composition makes brass a highly durable and corrosion-resistant material. Due to these properties, Brass statues and sculptures can be kept both indoors as well as outdoors. They also last for many decades without losing all their natural shine.

Brass statues can withstand even harsh weather conditions very well due to their corrosion-resistance properties. However, maintaining the luster and natural beauty of brass statues is essential if you want to prolong their life and appearance.

  • The best and simplest way to maintain a brass statue is to clean it at least twice a week using a soft cloth or cotton rag. This will prevent dust from accumulating on the surface. Dusting is especially important for outdoor statues since it is prone to dust accumulation much more than indoors.

  • To give a natural shine and luster to the statue, you may apply coconut or olive oil using cotton on every portion. You can use a toothbrush to get to the small crevices but do not be too harsh. This will make the brass statue appear fresh and new with a polished look.

  • In case you have a colored brass statue, you may apply mustard oil using a soft brush or clean cloth on the brass portion while for the colored portion of the statue, you may use coconut oil with a cotton cloth.

Brass idols of Hindu Gods and Goddesses are especially known for their intricate and detailed work of art. Nepalese sculptures are famous for small brass idols portraying Buddhist deities. These sculptures are beautified with gold gilding and inlay of precious or semi-precious stones. Religious brass statues can be kept at home altars. You can keep a decorative brass statue in your garden or roof to embellish the area and fill it with divinity.
