A deity’s divines and supremacy is held by his optimism, pure soul and that essence of preserving the mankind from all kinds of hinderances. This bejeweled sculpture of Lord Ganesha in lalitasana is a glorified ornamentation in the buyer’s house. The thick cylindrical Om imbibed pedestal is carved in wondrous circular waves with the Mooshak (Ganesha’s vehicle) and sacred kalash placed on either side.
That initial glance of this Vighnaharta creates an enticement in the heart and mind of the buyer; all decked up in astounding jewels like bracelets, long round kundals and mesmerizing multiple layered necklaces of precious beads and stones. When you zoom in to this picture you will notice the highly pleated dhoti carved in absolute compliment to the elegant differentiated chisels on the trunk and the stylized trishul symbol on his forehead. The sculptor has chosen and ancient color tone to emphasize his superiority along with the four hands in their usual gesture.
One may get awe-struck by the precise skills, laboriousness and perfection of artist, as can be seen by Ganesha’s honoured expressions, jewelled implements and stole that falls from sides along with the supremely structured and lavishly layered crown on his head supported by uniquely ornamented elephant ears.
