This mystical yantra of nine interlocking triangles represents Shri Vidya School of Hinduism. These triangles surround at a central point called bindu, and represent cosmos and the union of masculine and feminine divine; also known as, Shri Chakra or Navayoni Chakra (because of the nine triangles), is made of coveted traditional pancha dhatus and is considered most auspicious for prosperity, peace of mind, vastu dosha removal, protection from evil spirits and spiritual progress.
When the two dimensional Shri Yantra is represented in three dimensions, it is called Mahameru and contains the essence of all the yantras.
