Every woman should have a signature Banarasi in her ethnic collection. While the wedding saree is usually the most gorgeous Banarasi that you will ever want to own, one cannot simply wear it to festivals and gatherings afterwards. This is just the saree that serves such a purpose - it is hands-down an evening number designed to be worn on the night of a major festival or pooja, or during the wedding of an especially close one. Also, Indian figured silks of this variety are to die for, and have practically never gone out of fashion since they began to be woven centuries ago.
