Preface
A mother is a portal through which new life comes on this planet. While giving birth is no less than a miracle, the process can sometimes feel challenging and overwhelming. In the flow of life, it might feel like a natural routine event. Motherhood can be extraordinary and ordinary simultaneously.
When a woman learns about her pregnancy, the thoughts of baby's health, well-being and overall development occupy her mind.
Every mother wants the best for her baby. I was one such mother.
My curiosity took me to the history of Ancient India and I came across the practice of 'Garbh Sanskar.' Garbh Sanskar finds its mention in the Vedas and Upanishads as well. After extensive research, I realized that the baby's life depends substantially on how a pregnant woman spends her pregnancy.
In the past, women were aware of this ancient technique of Garbh Sanskar and practiced it diligently. This resulted in the birth of strong, healthy and happy babies. However, this practice has been lost with time, like many other practices.
When a woman is pregnant, she has the power equivalent to the mother nature. She can inculcate all the virtues in the baby right from her womb. When a mother takes care of these nine months consciously, she can give birth to a baby with a higher Intelligence Quotient(IQ), Emotional Quotient (EQ), Spiritual Quotient (SQ), and Adversity Quotient (AQ).
Through this book, I want to create awareness about Garbh Sanskar amongst planning and expecting couples for their.

Prologue
There were two stripes on the 'prega test' kit. Ananya couldn't believe her eyes. It felt surreal. She was ecstatic T and anxious at the same time. Her happiness knew no bounds. She couldn't believe that it was finally happening. Every cell of her body was dancing with happiness. She went to Arjun and put his hand on her belly, nodding in affirmation. Arjun was delighted to learn that their wait was finally over and his wife Ananya was now pregnant again. After her first miscarriage five years back, they had been longing to see this. Arjun and Ananya had all the worldly things that money could buy but deep down, they had been feeling empty. They were feeling the void created in their hearts was due to the absence of children in their lives, which they had both desired for years.
After knowing that she was pregnant again, she couldn't help but think of her past. All her childhood memories of conflicts between her parents and finally their separation when she was just eight came before her eyes. As she was a single child, she had a painful and lonely childhood. She always thought that she would have a perfect family, safeguard her baby from everything she had gone through, and do whatever it takes for her baby's best development and happiness. So, the same day, she started her extensive research on what a pregnant woman should do for the baby's best growth. She also booked an appointment with her gynecologist, Dr. Rita, to confirm the pregnancy. Being a lawyer, she wanted to be sure as she had to have a proof for everything. Her analytical mind didn't let her rest completely. She was very sensitive and would stress out very quickly.
