Gita Press has achieved the title of the world’s largest publisher of Vedic texts based in the Gorakhpur city of Uttar Pradesh, India. The founders of Gita Press (Jaya Dayal Goyanka and Ghanshyam Das Jalan) were active in preaching the glories of the Vedas, Puranas, and Upanishads.
They translated the Sanskrit texts of scriptures into various languages such as Hindi, Bengali, English, Kannada, Tamil, Marathi, etc. These translations present the exact meaning of the Sanskrit verses and are therefore considered authentic.
