संपादकीय विश्व का सबसे प्राचीन व ऐतिहासिक देश भारत, ज्ञान के साथ-साथ वैज्ञानिक परम्पराओं का जनक भी है। अणोरणीयान् महतो महीयान् इन दोनों विचारधाराओं का समन्वय भारतीय चिन्तन परम्परा में सर्वत्र दृग्गोचर होता है। एक से अनेक में परिणत होने वाली वैज्ञानिक प्रक्रिया और भिन्न-भिन्न तत्वों में एकता की उद्भावना हमारी संस्कृति की अनुपम विशेषता है। यह देश प्रारम्भ से ही प्रातिभ दृष्टि से इतना सम्पन्न रहा है कि इसने सप्तद्वीपा वसुन्धरा में रची-बसी समूची मानव सभ्यता को व्यावहारिक धरातल पर शिक्षित तो किया ही जीवन-रस को खोजने का आध्यात्मिक दृष्टिकोण भी प्रदान किया। वह वैभवशाली भारत था, अतुल्य भारत था।

दो शब्द धर्मपाल शोधपीठ की स्थापना महान विचारक चिंतक एवं इतिहासकार श्री धर्मपाल जी के विचारों के शोध एवं प्रसार के साथ ही आजादी के और आज़ादी के बाद भारत की संस्कृति परम्परा जीवन पद्धतियों का संरक्षण-संवर्धन स्वाधीनता संग्राम और उसके आदर्शों तथा स्वराज के बहुआयामी इतिहास का अध्ययन, अनुशीलन करने के उद्देश्य से 2009 में की गई थी। तब से लगातार यह शोधपीठ अपने उद्देश्यों की ओर सतत प्रगतिशील है। शोधपीठ ने अनेकानेक शोध संगोष्ठियों, सेमीनार, व्याख्यानों का आयोजन किया है तथा शोध को बढ़ावा देने के उद्देश्य से अनेक फैलोशिप कार्यक्रम भी चलाए हैं।

प्ररोचना मेरा परिवार सदैव से धार्मिक एवं परम्परागत मान्यताओं का पोषक रहा है। पूज्य दादाजी पं. वासुदेव शास्त्री पाण्डेय संस्कृत के उद्भट विद्वान एवं साधककुल परम्परा से थे। वे सनातन मानबिन्दुओं के प्रबल पक्षधर भी थे। उनके कारण परिवार पर परमहंस योगिराज श्री देवराहा बाबा (देवरिया, उ.प्र.), धर्मसम्राट श्रीस्वामीकरपात्रीजी महाराज, जगद्‌गुरु शंकराचार्य श्रीस्वामी निश्चलानंद सरस्वतीजी महाराज (गोवर्धनमठ, जगन्नाथपुरी), श्रीस्वामी भारतीतीर्थजी महाराज (श्रृंगेरी शारदा पीठ) इत्यादि वरेण्य संतजन तथा गुरुओं की विशेष कृपा बनी रही है।
