This album is orchestrated in such a way that you will experience seven different ways of freshness from listening to the seven different tracks.
Happiness- Hansadhwani: This raga invariably communicates happiness and brightness. The raga lays emphasis on the upper part of the musical octave. All the notes are natural or shuddha. Hansadhwani has an inbuilt lilt. It exudes gaiety and cheerfulness. One feels as if one has found a sense of purpose in life and its surroundings. The raga originally belongs to Carnatic Music. The famous composition ‘Vatapi Ganapati’, I praise of Lord Ganesha is sung all over South India. It made entry into Hindustani Music in the forties of the last century and was literally lapped up by musicians and music-lovers. Celebrated singers like Ustad Ameer Khan, Pandita Kishori Amonkar and Pandit Jasraj have popularized the raga among then audience. Each note has a sharpness and clarity which makes the raga bloom in all its splendor.
