The story of Sri Annamalai Swami and Bhagavan is one of the best examples of a Guru-Sishya (Guru and disciple) relationship, where the disciple surrenders to the Guru unconditionally and the Guru protects and nurtures the disciple with love, until his individuality has dissolved and he realizes his true nature.
After the Mahasamadhi of Bhagavan, Annamalai Swami continued to live in Pelakothu following the instructions of Bhagavan. Although he liked to lead a reclusive life, he generally welcomed visitors who wanted to talk about Bhagavan and his teachings. In the year 1986, many of these conversations were recorded and transcribed. This book contains the exchanges that took place during this period.
