Words like Fort, Palace etc provide us a vision of numerous pages of history. A fort raise aloft the area of a kingdom, the safety the fort provided the people of that time, and safety temperament. A palace is the reflection of the greatness of a royal dynasty, prestige and grandeur.
The positions of both the fort and palace are the links fusing the history with the present time. With the inscriptions, temple constructions, palaces and forts only diversified dimensions have become available to study the history. In this view, this book too is of importance. This work not only grasps history, but architecture, the culture of the region and people's manners. If an arch tells the splendour of a region, the deep trench in front of a fort tells the safety technique deployed at that time. With the air and light arrangement of a palace utilization of local resource, utilization of art forms of foreign countries brings the business affairs of that period into light. Here the history speaks.
We may get knowledge of the status of the monuments in light and shadow arrangement. If Mysore palace shines in the dark blue night, Bidar fort uncovers its status in hot sun.
Sri Vishwanatha Suvarna is one of the best photographers of Prajavani group. He is a liveliness person. He developed his association with nature at the verge of his retirement only. He was roving all over the state as if having a wheel tied to his legs. Starting from Basavakalyan, Bhalki of Bidar district till upto Mirjan fort of south he has catched forts in different angles and has documented at one place. It is highly admirable. With this, we can understand not only history we might come to know and study the architecture of that period. In addition, at present times, we might introspect where we have made a mistake in the maintenance of these monuments.
It is not mere clicking few pictures using cameras. Besides the excellence lies in describing them vividly. The book titled "Karunada Kotegala Suvarna nota" not only develops interest to see and read but carries us to study and for instraspection.
Sri Suvarna acquired by experience only which view, what dimension, lens and technical knowledge suits day and nights light composition. His ever long journey too at the verge of his retirement is a page in history and is reference of study.
