Book Description
About the Book

It is a dream and and also an achievement to complete a book on a rare subject like a conditional dasha, a trend started by the researchers of the Bharatiya Vidya Bhawan, New Delhi's Institute of Astrology.

The romantic story of a Bhrigu reading forms part of this venture.

The use of a conditional dasha has its great importance in the vast repertoire of astrological techniques of a Hindu astrologer, an area which had remained unexplored till recent decades.

Dwadashottari dasha is applicable to those horoscopes where the Navamsha falls in that of Venus which Vrisha (Taurus) or Tula (Libra).

The authors of the book, Dr. (Mrs.) S.R. Mishra and Sri R.S. Panwar produced this research under the guidance of Col. A.K. Gour well within our chosen schedule to make it available to those who had been demanding it for many months, in fact years.

The illustrative examples given will show how to use it and make accurate prediction which is the essence of Hindu astrology along with the increasing role of counselling which is also the domain of astrologers, particularly these days.

All conditional dashas are to be used in the expanded use of astrology which combines prediction with counselling.

Preface

This book must begin with a prayer to Lord Krihna, particularly as seen in Nathdwara and the great Rishi, Bhrigu as will be clear when you read the following.

This book on the "Dwadashottari Dasha" epitomises two much talked about but little experienced issues "Guru Kripa" and "Kari Gopal ki Sab Hoi".

K.N. Rao has revolutionised so many facets of astrology which are difficult even to be counted. His research classes comprise one of the many such facets. These classes have a visible impact seen in the classes, discussions and seminars. They also have an invisible impact which channelises "Guru Kripa". He nudges holds the hand, guides, even prompts 'the willing and the able to write books. It is this "Guru Kripa" which is bringing out the value of Conditional Dashas. This is essential as in today's astrological world Vimshottari Dasha has produced the "TINA" (There is no alternative) effect.

M.K. Pathak pioneered this thrust. His book on "Dwisaptati Sama Dasha" was not only the first. It also has the distinction of international testing. Naval Singh joined him with an admirable book on "Chatursheeti Sama Dasha". Then came V.P. Goel with thoroughly professional, outstanding efforts to write three books "Yogni" "Shodashottri" and "Shashti Hayani Dasha". Akhila joined with an excellent exposition on the "Sthira Dasha". Guru Kripa now has fostered this work on the "Dwadashottari Dasha".

Now see how "Kari Gopal Ki Sab Hoi" operates and how it is experienced. A group sets out on a pilgrimage to Rajasthan. It reaches the "Nathdwara" temple on 26th December 2004. The day is auspicious, it is 'Poornima' and the "Chappan Bhog" special, once in a year Puja Day. The prayers were done devoutly and "Gopal" nudges the group to Karoi to the Bhrigu reader Nathu Lal Sharma's place.

In the readings two persons of the many, who got the readings, get to hear this-Ravi Panwar first "Kitab likhne ka likha hai-Jyotish mein"-"Likhe hai to hoga hi". Rama Mishra was next to hear a near repetition of these words. This was uncanny. None of the other readings mentioned a word about writing. Mine was the last reading and Bhrigu ji said "Guru Kripa hai aur age aur badhege- is kripa se Guru Bhaion se kitab likwane hai aise likha hai". This is "Kari Gopal Ki Sab Hoi".

Ravi Panwar and Rama Mishra have been a part of Wednesday classes for years now. Their dedication hard work astrological inquisitiveness has now found expression in this excellent book on "Dwadashottari Dasha". Their efforts are commendable and I am sure, it will spur them to higher achievements.
