Preface

This book gently unfolds the idea that the wisdom of our scriptures is not merely symbolic or mythical, but carries a silent truth of science and evolution of consciousness that flows through time. What the sages have realized within is now being explored by the science.
From the mysteries of the Ramayana and Mahabharata to the profound wisdom of the Vedas and Puranas, the author invites us to dive deeper that challenges conventional thinking.
What has long been dismissed as mere mythology or imagination is uncovered here with a rational view, revealing the ideas that connect with modern scientific understanding.
At its heart, Puratan Vigyan is driven by curiosity that once inspired ancient sages to explore and understand the universe, and that continues to drive modern scientists too today. The book suggests that our ancestors were not merely storytellers, but keen observers and thinkers who encoded complex knowledge within symbolic narratives to preserve it across generations.
The author, Pramod Bhargava has emerged as a courageous and inquisitive voice, gracefully bridging the perceived division between science and tradition. With profound respect for ancient wisdom, he brings it alive in a way that speaks to the modern mind. His writing does not seek to oppose, but to harmonize in such a way that inviting readers to reconnect with their roots with awareness, clarity, and a renewed sense of pride. His effort is to remind us that knowledge is not born in fragments, but flows as one continuous stream through time.
In a time when traditions are often misunderstood or dismissed, this book urges the reader to pause, reflect, and explore the scientific essence embedded within cultural practices and beliefs.
As you turn these pages, you are not merely reading a book but rather you are entering a timeless dialogue between past and future, ancient and modern, gently guided by the eternal quest for truth and knowledge.
