About the Book SCUBA Dive - Beyond the Mind" is a compilation of stories, chants and knowledge put together from the wisdom of the various scriptures for the young and old alike. The book's title has been carefully chosen to bring out answers to the question "Who Am I" SCUBA stands for "Self", "Consciousness", "Universality", "Being" and "Awareness".

About the Author ARTHI KRISHNA is the author of the book. She began her career as an IT professional and then moved to working with children as a teacher in an alternate school. Arthi has been associated with Chinmaya Mission through their study group and has been conducting Balavihar classes for children for the past 15 years. She loves to sing Indian classical songs and music is her way to connect with herself. She is one of the founders of Sankalpa, an organisation whose vision is to promote a balanced life in harmony with oneself and the world around. Arthi conducts classes on Indian knowledge systems (IKS) for children (3 to 14yrs) and adults through a collaborative initiative between Sankalpa and Yoga Bharati Foundation called Sanatana Gurukulam. Popular courses conducted by her are preconception-pregnancy education, youth programs, parenting and Swadhyaya (self-reflection) for adults using IKS.

Foreword This is a wonderful initiative to educate children with the ideas of deep Indian wisdom of Sanatana Dharma. Highly profound spiritual truths given by the most ancient wisdom is presented in a very simple language, such that the reader can find it helpful in their day-to-day life. The moral teachings and stories interspersed in between help one to relate the knowledge with a simple life experience. This is the speciality of this book. When we were growing up in Andhra, we used to have a book called "Pedda Bala Siksha" for the children of age 5-15. In fact, I read the books even when I went to college. I moved away from Andhra decades ago. Reading Scuba Dive beyond the Mind reminded me of this book. Arthi, having years of experience running the Bala Vihar programmes for children, has mastered this knowledge and simplified it to the level of children. I wish great success for this book. I believe it will be a valuable and welcome addition in many homes. All the rishis who gave us this knowledge, all the sages who passed it on, I pray that all of them bless the team who produced this book.
