Preface
Pregnancy is a celebration of life, which should not be limited to a superficial fortification with Iron, Calcium, and Folate. There is much more to it than nutritional support. It is a wonderful feeling of exhilaration, excitement, and anticipation to experience another heart beating within you. The journey is spiritual and emotional, that also involves bonding with the unborn life within yourself.
My book, Garbha Maata Sanskar, aims to prepare aspiring parent couples for pregnancy by nurturing and nourishing the foetus in the womb, in mind, spirit, and body. It also aims to prepare the mother for childbirth, by providing the baby with positive values in the womb through Abhimanyu therapy, thereby ensuring that he or she develops into a noble citizen; and, in addition, ensuring the health of the expectant mother with regard to food habits and lifestyle. There is no going away from our roots and culture in modernism; it is about bringing it back and implementing it in the modern world.
As a science of life and well-being, Ayurveda teaches preconception, antenatal, postnatal, and newborn care not only on a physical level but also on a spiritual and emotional one The Garbha Maata Sanskar promotes the implementation of Ayurvedic practices for the betterment of the mother, child, and society in the modern era. It's live a fulfilling life with Ayurveda!
