present book attempts to cover all the aspects e of yoga and self-I management discussed in the Bhagavadgita, which is a comprehensive text of personal and professional life management and adhyatma-sadhana (spiritual upgradation). This book is the outcome of more than ten years of my serious reading, learning, understanding, analysing and teaching the Bhagavadgita. I had been planning to write such a book for some time now, but it could not materialize due to one reason or the other. Even now, it was the enthusiasm of my student Nitin and his adroit designing skills which compelled me to bring my understanding of the Bhagavadgita in this visible form. Mere thanking him in words will not be sufficient for the contribution he has given in bringing out this illustrated work.
I hope that the presentation and designing of this book will give the readers the feel that they are integral part to a live conversation and will make the understanding of the deeper philosophical concepts easier to apply in day-to-day life. This book has been conceptualized and designed keeping in mind everyone who wants to know the secrets of living a healthy, happy, harmonized and holistic life. I hope it will especially prove useful to the students and sadhakas of Yoga.
I offer my gratitude to my Guru (ॐ) and thank everyone who has helped directly or indirectly in bringing out this book.
I am particularly thankful to Dr Kamini Kumari, Assistant Professor of Sanskrit, LSR College for Women, University of Delhi for devoting her valuable time in editing the text and also Dr Sneha Pathak who has helped me in shaping the book.
My thanks are also due to Dr I.V. Basavaraddi, Director, Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga, under whose guidance and mentorship, I have started my formal Yoga journey. He introduced me to the field of Yoga, inspired me to teach Yogic texts like Bhagavadgīta, Upanisads, Yogavasistha, etc. His love, care, guidance and blessings for my academic growth and personal upgradation cannot be expressed but can only be experienced.
I would also like to thank my publishers, M/s D.K. Printworld, specifically Shri Susheel Mittal ji and his team, for their careful and insightful copy-editing, editing, and flawless and alluring printing and publishing.
