Sculpted in durable and hard granite stone, this broken wheel sculpture is a replica of the iconic wheels of the chariots of Airavateshwara Temple, situated in Kumbakonam, Tamil Nadu.

The blooming lotus in the center, pillar-like spokes, and foliage are all taken from the massive wheels of the Chola temple, also a UNESCO World Heritage site.
