Dr. Makkar has been studying Alternative Medicines for over 15 years and is adept in many forms of treatment, he holds a Ph.D. in Alternative Medicines from The Indian Board of Alternative Medicines, Calcutta which is affiliated with the Open International University for Complimentary Medicines and established under World Health Organization, Alma Ata, U.S.S.R. declaration, 1962 and recognized by the United Nations Peace University constituted under resolution No. 35/55/5XII/80.
Today was the start of another class on Chakras. The course would last for 9 days, each day tutorials would be given for 2 to 3 hours. Dr. Makkar recollected; it all depended on the students, what was to take place today. Hopefully, the class will be of 2 hours plus.
Dr. Makkar liked intelligent students, not the silent ones, or the backbenchers. But, the students were tutored with equal attention and Dr. Makkar never forgot to say "You have only one teacher to learn from, every question you ask me, increases my domain in Alternative Medicines, I learn more from you. So, just ask questions, do not worry or try to format questions, give it a shot and I would be happy to answer".
This was Dr. Makkar. Aged 56 years, with the hair on crown graying and the hair line receding, he was putting on a little weight too. But, the student liked him.
