This book has been compiled for the benefit of all those who are engaged in the Teaching and Learning Process. It is as much for the elders who are responsible for disseminating knowledge as for the Learners who have to absorb from the elders the accumulated Knowledge and Wisdom of mankind. All together, the wise Elders, the in-charge Educationists, Teachers and Learners have not only to ensure mankind's ascent enmasse up the Evolutionary Ladder, but also have to ensure that human beings do not slip down.....to lower sub-human levels.
For this it is necessary that all practise an accepted proper moral and ethical code of conduct, as befits members of civilized society. All, from family, societal, national to International, Global level, must cultivate the ability to live and work without swerving from the straight path of Truth, Honesty, Integrity, Righteousness, Peace, Love, Care, Kindness, Consideration for others, Non-Violence etc. Impelled by senses and desires the minds of human beings are constantly, continuously, innundated by a vast variety of thoughts, ideas and desires that drag human beings into various tantalizing activities.
It stands to reason that selfish, violent desires that jeopardize the safety, peace and welfare of others' be curbed and weeded out from human Consciousness. All are parts of the One vast Ocean of Consciousness, what happens in one part is bound to have reaction and repercussions on other parts. All are inter-linked, no one lives alone in a vacuum. Destructive negative thoughts and ideas must be weeded out and removed.
The younger generation Learners shoulder double responsibilities as they have to acquire the accumulated Knowledge of mankind and add to it, in time to come, further beneficial, knowledge, skills, balance and insights for the progress of mankind and the world. Keeping the above in view, this book is designed to confer clear guidance for the benefit of the Teaching-learning Community, as well as for parents who are responsible for the safety and welfare of their wards. Unlike animal species, young human beings require 18 to 24 years of upbringing, care and education till they are able take up duties and responsibilities as young adults. Both parents have to fulfil their required roles.
Hasty conclusions about "Spirituality" must be put aside. Careful, serious perusal of this compendium will help clarify doubts like: "Spiritual Science is baseless, a cult, sect or religion, ritualstic, irrational, unscientific, narrow-minded ignorant blind faith, not according to Indian Constitution, not Secular, not within the accepted policy...etc. ete." Educationists and other responsible persons must undertake patient reading of this compilation with an open, enquiring, reflecting mind. Darkness of ignorance can be removed only by the light of Knowledge. Switch on the Light, darkness vanishes!
The term Science means "Systematic and organized body of knowledge which is obtained by emperical studies (ie.observation, experimentation and testing of facts and which aims to reveal the underlying principles and laws that govern the matter under study." Example Physics studies the physical world of mater, right from the sub. atomic microcosm to the vast Macrocosm. We have Sciences like Chemistry, Biology, Geology, Astronomy, Social Sciences etc. Each studies its own subject matter. Likewise, Spiritual Science studies its own subject matter, that "Something" within the living body that confers 'Consciousness, Awareness and Energy' to the body. "That Something' is not visible physically, 'It' is not seen, we cannot touch it, therefore "It' is called the 'Spirit" or "Inner Being', the 'Power Within', or 'Consciousness. It gives "Life and Awareness' to the 'Body-mind-intellect Entity" called human being. What is the proof of Its existence ? The answer is: What gives 'LIFE' to the Body-Mind Complex ? "By What or Whose Power, Light or Energy a person thinks, understands, moves ete? What is death? Same body, same organs, same form, same blood, flesh and bones still exist...but 'no life'. Can we deny that there is 'A Power within' an "Active Principle within which gives "life" to a body making it move, speak etc. When It goes, stops giving Power or shuts off the Power Supply, the body becomes "lifeless', 'dead"?
Spiritual Science studies That Invisible Power Within", "The Life Force-Soul. Spirit or Atma, which is part of the One 'Infinite Ocean of Consciousness, that exists everywhere, in every being, conferring 'Life and Awareness". Obviously It is within, and around all. To understand and experience This Truth is called 'Self-Realisation'.
Some people are unable to understand this simple obvious Truth because they have a different understanding. They have so many thoughts, worries and desires of the world, that there is no time, interest and energy left to think of something that is not seen. Thus, because their 'Consciousness' itself is covered with so many 'thoughts", and 'things' the actual life source the 'Consciousness Within' is not understood. This is like the algae and dirt which cover the water of lakes and ponds so thick that the water itself is not visible. 'Clear consciousness is within all but it is covered with the objects thoughts and ideas of the 'Show' that is going on outside on the World-Screen". People, are unable to withdraw their attention from the outer world, and are therefore unable to understand and experience the inner Truth. In our modern times, Quantum Physics has pointed out that at the sub-atomic level, it is not 'matter' that exists but dynamic Energy.
