This writer underlined that all the notes, sketches, di-ary entries and the photos he had collected during his jour-ney of western Nepal leaving his hometown in the city could be regarded as entities that will go into the compilation of a creative volume. But the reader by now has, strangely enough, come to the conclusion that he or she had already identified oneself with the gamut of human experiences so far knitted into a total compendium of existence. Upreti depicts situations where the man struggles with natural forces such as floods and other disasters. The work is observed as page-moving and fused with human dimen-sions."
