From The DVD Artist: J. Krishnamurti Format: DVD
Every person, wherever he is in the strata of society, is concerned about himself. When you are concerned about yourself, you build a wall around yourself. It may be a pleasant wall or a wall that is full of pain and sorrow, a wall either intellectual or emotional. Whatever that will is created by you, by your anxiety, by your worries, by your fears, by your confusion, it is going to separate you from another and this is what is happening globally. And as long as you are within a wall, you are lonely, unhappy, uncertain and insecure. Our education is helping us to find a job, a wife, house, children and all that, and I live in that small little home, and I don’t want to be disturbed, because I think that is complete security for me. But is it secure? You try to find security in a person or in an idea or in a belief or in some concept or in money.
Is there security?
