What does the word "Retirement" mean in everyone's mind? Most people think that "Retirement" means financial planning & enjoying life without stress, tension. Is it that easy? Does only Financial Planning work & make life easy during Retirement?
Practically, I would say "NO", big NO. Yes, money is one of the most important aspects in planning of retirement. It is a part of planning but not the whole. Also think about your "Soul Plan", what you would like to achieve in this life span.
Graphologist, Sound Healer & Counsellor, Rashmikant Parikh, wants to make one aware and alert about which other aspects are also important, which are to be considered to plan retirement. This book will highlight and try to cover all aspects, which are to be considered in retirement planning. Those who are retired, they can also rethink, redesign, redefine their retired life. This will help to make your Retired life - The 2nd Innings - Your Golden Innings.
Rashmikant Parikh is a retired Govt. Officer, Telecom Engineer, from MTNL, Mumbai. He planned his VRS on 31st March 2006, offered by MTNL, and retired on that date. Before retirement he planned what further activity he wanted to do in his free time. So, before retirement he learned Yoga, from the Yoga Institute, Santacruz, Mumbai. He also learned Graphology (Hand-Writing Analysis), and Counselling.
After learning Graphology & counselling, he started practicing the same, during which he came to know about health issues of people. So, he decided to work in the health sector. After that he learned Naturopathy from Akhil Bharat Prakrutik Jivan Sangh, Bhuj. Last but not least he learned Sound Healing, from the International Academy of Sound Healing.
His maximum age group of patients is between 50 to 65, which is close to retirement. So, he thought of working on retired age group people/senior citizens. He started studying, observing them minutely, then he found the challenges/difficulties faced by this age group of people viz. physical, mental, emotional & financial. So, this study made him think about the cause, and how he can help/ guide them. So, these experiences made him pen down this book to help senior citizens, who are retired & also who are close to retirement. They can also get a few tips to plan their retirement. Who have already retired can also redefine, redesign & rethink their retirement. I hope everyone will benefit & enjoy this book.
