LIFE AND WORKS OF SAADAT HASAN MANTO
LIFE AND WORKS OF SAADAT HASAN MANTO
Description
From the Jacket

This volume brings together a collection of essays of literary critics, historians and sociologists presented at a seminar on the life and works of Saadaat Hasan Manto held at the Institute of advanced study in 1996. It offers the first major critical appraisal of the complex moral impulses and formal elements which characterize the works of one of the greatest writers of the Indian subcontinent. Many of the essays included here also pay thoughtful attention to Manto's attempts to make sense of the partition of India and its accompanying horror.

I’ve started receiving many of the books I’ve ordered and every single one of them (thus far) has been fantastic - both the books themselves, and the execution of the shipping. Safe to say I’ll be ordering many more books from your website :)

I received the kaftan today via FedEx. Your care in sending the order, packaging and methods, are exquisite. You have dressed my body in comfort and fashion for my constrained quarantine in the several kaftans ordered in the last 6 months. And I gifted my sister with one of the orders. So pleased to have made a connection with you.
